Animals like bears and squirrels are not true winter daydreaming and of course during summer and fall they collect energy, like in this video with a cute bear attracted by a salmon smell, which is made in Canada British Columbia. Though usually sleep for long periods during the coldest parts of winter, huddled in a den or nest, they do not fall into a deep, unconscious state of hibernation. Unable to feed themselves during sleep, these animals rely on body fat reserves. However, they can often be a period of improvement in time and go out to urinate or eat something. How do squirrels that live in the trees have less fat reserves than bears, they often visit the warehouses of food that are left in the fall.

On the other hand, a real winter sleepers, such as tenor or marmot, do not move during the winter. These animals rely entirely on fat reserves to survive, and to save their energy metabolism is slowing down compared to a normal rhythm. Only warm-blooded animals hibernate because they are the main types of animals that can survive in places where are the good conditions for hibernation. However, rattlesnakes often spend the winter in the rocky cracks and holes in the ground. Reptiles and amphibians that live in very hot and dry regions have their own form of hibernation, which is called the summer dream. They lull when their habitat becomes too dry. Most are buried in moist sand or under rocks, exploding again only when rain returned to life habitat. Some frogs sleep summer dream even get a leather casing that keeps body moisture while they are waiting for the rain to return.

Heart rate in animals in hibernation even slow down to a couple of minutes. The animal breaths slower, and her body temperature falls a few degrees above air temperature in the environment. Another way to resist the bad conditions are migrating.
