Cats as pets

I have had cats for many years now and I am very happy with them, but out of all of them Gary is my favorite cat. Gary is like a child to me; He calls to me when he needs food, water, or attention and brings me joy just having him in my life.

Cats who are brought up around people have a co-dependent/independent nature about them, and will do things with you or without you. They may be domesticated, but they never lose their natural instincts to hunt and catch prey even if their domestication didn’t teach them what to do after the fact.

They truly are wonderous creatures. Seemingly magical as they appear to mostly be in a dream-like state; As if they exist in both our world and another.

Cats deserve your attention. They can take away negative energy and brighten your day.

  4. Unfortunately I’m severely allergic to cats, but I’ve always considered them fascinating and intelligent animals. Ironically, most cats seem to like me and pick me out of a crowd !

  5. Hi Zarko, I used to have one when I was a teenager, a black one; he walked into our apartment and lived with us for a year, then left. Was cool – I loved his independence and quiet dignity.

  6. I agree with you Austin. Their tenderness and calmness is magic.
